i am in need of a new pair of batteries. does anyone know which interstates fit in the superduties? or at least the specs we need 850CCA?.. thru my work i get a badass deal on interstates thats why im staying with them. thanks in advance

 

I am pretty sure they are 65 series batteries. It seems like I have read factory batteries were 750 CCA. I just purchased Motorcraft 850 CCA batteries for my 06. IIRC Blade35 has 1000 CCA bats...

 

Series 65, 750 cca or above and major brands good. Interstate is as good as any. If you get a good price go for it. I also consider where to get a replacement on a Sunday or holiday if necesary.

 

The lead plates inside your battery get thinner with higher cold cranking amp batteries. The oem have thicker plates with the 750 cca, and may last longer.

 

They have the mtp-65 that is 850cca and a mt-65 that is 750 I believe.. I'm in s. Texas so it's never too damn cold

 

Just ordered 2 mtp-65 850cca. 84$ +tax... Be here tmrw from the warehouse to my shop

 

I'm late to this thread, but those are what I run, and that is a very good price.

Good batteries, not such a great warranty.

Mine is too. So it pissed me off when a battery failed on a road trip, on a Saturday. That's where the warranty is useless.
