Low boost?

Hey folks, so I installed a Glowshift 3in1 Boost/FP/Pyro guage tonight. When I tested it out, it said my EGT was only 200*F, even in WOT. But the boost caught my eye, under WOT, the guage said only 12psi. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Also, I installed MBRP 4" Turboback last night, I'm actually not too sure if I feel a difference because I don't drive the p!ss out of it.

If one assumes the gauge is right, if you only are getting 12 PSI, you could have a turbo problem or boost leak. Have anyway of checking codes?

I'd be curious to know if you had a low boost code to go with the low boost. Go to an auto parts store, and borrow the scanner. It's usually free...

Well, that doesn't mean much. Batteries were disconnected at some point basically...

Do you hear a loud air whoosh type of noise at idle? The up pipes are good for getting holes in them at the flex sections. But if your really only getting 12 PSI at max, you should have a code. Where did you tap in for the boost gauge?

Ok, so I plugged the boost wire into the fuel pressure port on the guage. It was fine, peaked at 29 settled at 27. Is it possible that a bad ground or something of that sort would make the analog not work right?

IDK if your last post means that you got it working right or not

But I think somethings wrong with either the gauge or the install

Because both Boost and EGT numbers were way off

200* EGT is not right no matter what well maybe if you just shut truck off but running NO WAY 200* EGT

12 Psi Boost at WOT is not right unless you are having drivability issues along with it
But at WOT should be like 24-28 psi Boost

Yup, it's working, but not the "dial" part of the guage. The digital psi reading for fuel pressure at the bottom is where I connected it to, and it read between 27-29 at WOT. I'm hoping I just messed up the install with the live wire or ground. Thanks a lot for helping me with my spaz.
