Does a Superchips boost your boost?
Hey there, I have a 2004 PSD, and I was just wondering if a SCT 1704-A actually increases your boost from your turbo? If so, how much does it go to on your boost guage under hard accelleration (w/ out a trailer). I don't have a boost guage yet and I am wondering what kind of pressure increase I am running with the HP setting.

05' I think factory spec is like 26 pounds and when it is in High Performance it raises the speed limiter, rev limiter and turbo boost. If I am not mistaken it will max the boost out to around 34 lbs now. When I am playing around you can build the turbo up to about 30# and get on it hard when changing from 2nd-3rd gears it will jump the rpm's to around 3800 or so......you do have to be careful it will jump above max rpm's if you arent careful. I would definitely suggest keeping a sensible mind since you dont have the guages.
