need advice
i have a 99 expedition xlt 4wd
my problem is my cel is on and my o/d light flashes now i just had my tranny replaced a few months ago and i have had the sensor on it replaced 3 times because im forever being told it was the sensor
the engine surges at average speeds the o/d lights flashes intermittently amd its funny when it starts flashing if i slow down or stop for a minute it stops flashing please help me i have spend thousands on a tranny and fixing it and still the same problem

The P1747 code is telling you that the pressure control solenoid inside the tranny is showing a short. This could indicate a problem with the solenoid inside the tranny or a short in the wiring running to the tranny. Further diagnostics are necessary to determine which.
The P0401 code indicates insufficient EGR flow. This could be a bad EGR valve or the ports running to (or from) the EGR valve are blocked with carbon build-up. Remove the EGR valve to inspect the ports.
