Help! EGR Problem, restrictive flow
I have a 99 V10, service engine light is on, code for restricted EGR Valve (forgot the exact number). Just replaced EGR Valve, reset code, within 10 miles it was back on again. Reset the code again, off for about 10 miles then back on again. Any advice would be helpful. What else should I be looking at? Did I waste my money on a new EGR Valve? Anybody else with a similar problem??

Yup, change the sensor first, if that doesn't fix it, make sure the EGR tubing isn't crimped and it's clear of blockage, and then make sure the throttle body port for the EGR is not clogged with carbon (VERY common!).
