Coolant leaking down back of engine

hey guys, now that its getting cold out, ive noticed on cold nights my 6.0 drips coolant all over the driveway (its noticeably getting worse quickly), it started off coming down the right side of the motor where the motor meets the bell housing, and now it actually seems like it does it on both sides, but much worse on the driver side. Doesnt leak at all when the trucks running, just when everythings below freezing. could this be an egr problem? its hard to trace where it starts as its hard to see the back of the motor up top..

it sounds like its an egr cooler hose leak. Look where your egr connects do you have an orange or blue hose? Should be between the oil filter and the turbo but off to the passenger side a bit. Hows the coolant to water ratio?

i believe if u get the replacement hose, it should be blue. supposed to be stronger material or thicker than original. it'll fit anyways.

His little EGR Cooler-to-Oil Cooler hose leaks a little, and you tell him to delete the EGR system?

Yup. That would fix it. Seems like a little overkill, but it would definitely do the trick.

If you determine the hose is the issue, which I would guess yes, here is a recent thread on the subject. (No you don't have to pull the turbo)
