Well sounds like it could be on the other side of the shut off valve. From what you described, when you don't have the heat on. That valve should be closed and keeping water from flowing to the spot where it leaks. That valve is controlled by vaccuum and located around the passenger side valve cover.

Depends. Could be a hose, the valve itself or just a hose clamp. Should be easy to check the valve area. Nothing is blocking it and should be right on top or next to the pas side valve cover.

check the heater controll valve if you have one. would also have signs of leaking on the #5 injector plug.

That is the old style EGR hose I believe. The updated hose is blue. Strange that it changes when heat is on. I wouldn't think the valve is inline with the flow from the oil cooler/egr. They usually leak when cold. Perhaps the extra flow through the heater core drops the pressure enough to let it leak around the o-rings.

All new OEM. If interested, I'll take a look for ya.

I got it from ford @ 10% over cost. Happy to pass the savings onto you + actual shipping cost. Let me double check tonight to make sure that is what I have but 99% I bought an extra 1 that came with something else I got when doing it all.
