For those considering dash upgrades!

Many might like this, but I don't personally see this as very useful in a Superduty.

There is no BU camera or SD storage for your tunes, but city folk might be able to use this anyway. You just have to ask -what will this do for me when I drive through this?

i personally dont need no smart phone. it doesnt make me money it only helps you blow 100 bucks a month on the phone bill. only thing is the nav is nice to have right on the radio

I ordered the navigation system mainly to have the back up camera viewed there and not in the mirror, I have a droid that connects via bluetoothto the navigation system.

can't see the benefit of this.

I feel the same way, i always spring for the "contractors" flip phone.

I upgraded to a kenwood with built in nav, touch screen. one time cost, no need for a smart phone for me.

Jenson here

I got the jenson with nav, hook up for my i pod that i leave pluged in and control through the touch screen, input jacks for a back up cam and xm radio if i ever want to add them. it plays cd's and dvd's toooo, also connects to my phone when im in the truck and i can view my contacts and call logs through the touchscreen. im verry happy with it

When I see one of those nav units on the windshield it's a clear indicator to me that the driver of said vehicle has no damn idea what the hell they are doing so I stay away. hahaha This device helps the idiots keep thier ignorance to themselves, denying me the right to see them coming, hence putting me and my family in danger. Just joking. The nav units have thier place for those who travel frequently I'm sure. I have seen many be lead astray by them so I dont use them unless in a pinch. Hand me the good ole paper map thanks. I use my phone for business only usually, phone calls, email etc.
