Truck Leaning ??

Just was doing a little measuring today and noticed the truck is leaning to the left, there is a 1" difference (lower left side). I have a full tank would that do it? Any other suggestions?

A tank full of gas should not make the truck lean. I have a 38 gallon tank and have never noticed the truck leaning.

Here's a thread I posted on the subject a few years ago.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...lean-shim.html

I ended up just living with it and its really not noticeable. I think a slick fix would be airbags though. Air them up differently to correct the sag. I haven't got there yet though.

Wow so its pretty common then by the sounds of it. I had never noticed until I was looking at my mudflaps and one looked shorter so I grabbed a tape, and they hang the same length from the fenderwell but one side is higher off the ground. Anyways I'll ask about it next time the truck is in, I am under extended warranty still so worth mentioning I guess.

trophy if you still have a warrenty i would take it to the dealer and have them install the shim. I installed a long add a leaf in the rear of my truck about three years ago and it hasnt moved yet, my rear is about 1/8 to 1/4 off on a given day depending on fuel tank.

I have 1-1.5" lean on my '03. Planning to swap rear springs eventually to see if it will even back out, I'd rather do that than shim it.

Hey Guys Im glad I found this post. I have a a 03 SD CC SB 4x4 w/ a 7.3. I had a 1 1/4 inches of sag on my front left side Measured about 5/8 of an inch on the left rear.
I installed some rough country springs( there leveling kit spring pack replacement) thinking replacing the worn out springs with fresh packs would fix my problem. And still Have a more then an inch of sag on the front left and same 5/8" in the rear. Is the rear sag going to cause that much of an Issue up front? The lean is driving me crazy to the point I cant stand to even look at the truck( And I really like my truck).

Kind of looking where to go next to fix my issue thanks in advance for any info.
