Ok...I'm probably being too ****, but I noticed that the truck did not look perfectly level sitting in the parking lot. Got home and measured ground to fender and noticed that the left side was 1/2 to 1 inch lower than the right. Distance is greater in the rear than the front. Took several measurements at different locations to include the driveway. So I am thinking to myself that the gas tank is on the left and I have 3/4 of a tank in the truck which is causing the variance. Is this normal or should I take it to the dealership?
Don't know if I would call it "normal" but may be the way it is
Really? I don't want to make an uneccessary trip to the dealership if I don't have to. Somebody measure theirs so I can sleep tonight Seems like if the tank was on the left that it should be accounted for in the suspension...but then again the variance noted above may be the "norm" and within acepted tollerances due to tank location.
Mine does that too now, but I have an 8 inch lift kit. I noticed it but it didn't really bother me till everyone at work started picking on it. I'm putting air bags on the back this weekend so I should be able to compensate with more air on the driver side for the rear. The front I think the only way to fix is to shim it.
IMO is it detrimental to the truck and the way it performs for you, if not then NO>
Is it livable……….if yes then, no.
IF you have a wonderful dealership, and I really mean a very good working relationship with them then take it in.
First, know what you want and if they can give you what you want.
It was the tires. Just put on new skins and it is perfect all the way around. look for new post with pics of my truck. Gotta load them on imagestation first.
Hey, I don't know...the truck is less than a week old. Only thing I can think of is that the dealship did not check psi prior to sale. Measured again after new tire install today and it is perfect to 1/16th of an inch all the way around.
These tires have so stiff a side wall.......you would have to have a delta on tire pressure of over 40lbs to make a measurable difference???? Does not mena you could drive on it
This one.......is one for the records
The most important thing Bear is happy with his truck……..that is what matters.

Tim...thanks,
Yeah..I don't know what else it could be. I did stop by the dealership (great bunch of guys btw). They confirmed that the truck should be perfectly level. They did mention that since the truck was new that the shocks were compressed during transport and may need to work themselves out...so that may be the culprit.

IMO a shock does not need to work out after the first ten miles.
Check it out...............suspect of hteir statement!!
