by updating you mean watching the icp drop to 0? when I turn the key on I can see the icp changing on the screen. Also you have it right I will go out again and leave the key on for a few minutes and see what I get. But when I start to crank it it goes to 0 fast.

I wonder if your taking the readings to fast becuz on both pics the IPR% was at 14.4

14.4 IPR% is great when the key is in the on position

But 14.4% while cranking is not right the IPR number should skyrocket untill it starts it should be at like 70-80% IPR during crank

I think that your taking the numbers to fast the SGneeds time to update during crank

when you see the numbers on the SG screen change it has updated at this point you will want to note your readings

I usually set it to volts and when that one changes you know the SG updated

Somethings definatly off IPR% never changed and it should have

when you went to crank it IPR should have skyrocketed BUT IT DIDNT IT NEVER CHANGED

to me it looks like a IPR/ICP wiring problem

At 14.4% IPR its just draining all the oil back to the oil pan and not making any HPO
I think your getting close atleast headed in the right direction

if I unplug the IPR and put my volt meter on the connector and get a reading while cranking will this tell us if the IPR is bad? or should I just pull it again?

Is this linked to my FICM. I did the 3 test awhile back but Sean was saying there are some other tests that i can do with the scanguage to see if its working correctly any input on this?

I was more thinking about testing the wire to see if the IPR would be getting the voltage needed for it to close when the engine was cranking. Not testing the IPR. I will start tearing down again and looking at the harness again

It may cause a hard start/no start when cold

I beleive that the problem is in the HPO system
according to the readings its not making any HPO to fire the Injectors
