I got a vin today! Now we're talkin'! Hopefully it's smooth sailin' from here.Does anyone know if the vin look up's referenced on the FTE sight work or are they for internal use only?

Went to the dealership today, still no updates, still waiting for a build date. bigoltrk, congratulations on finally getting a build date and VIN number. Since you ordered a week before me, I'm expecting to get mine sometime next week. I'm hoping that it will come before Christmas. How did you go about getting the local rep involved with your order? I found this website, where you can enter your VIN and get your window sticker.

I ordered my '12 F-450 KR in early September and received it on October 24. The 6.7 has a huge amount of power and so far it's getting about 4 mpg better than my '08 F-450. I'm averaging about 16 mpg with the '12 and was lucky to get 11.5 mpg with the '08.

Got a confirmed delivery date today of 12/19. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much but with a little luck, it will be a great Christmas!

Yea, chasis cab is 4.30 only. I ordered my truck Nov 14. Got a call from my dealer today and he said it didnt get picked up yet due to a shortage of 19.5 tires. He thinks it may get picked up in another 2 weeks and then it will take 5 weeks to build. That is what he told me.
