Dang, am I ever beat! I've been running back and forth between home, Sacramento and Davis for the better part of the last three weeks, doing jobs wherever they come up. Been building a huge stage in a bar in Davis that's under new management and just had a fortune sunk into a remodel, got to go back over tomorrow and put on the finishing touches. Done a couple of head gasket jobs lately as well, and have a couple more lined up. Getting a bit tired of sleeping in the back of the Rover, but at least it's pretty comfortable back there with the sleeping platform I built in it. Kinda wish I'd built in a toilet, my aging bladder doesn't like to make it through the whole night anymore...
And then I just spent the weekend at the Cow Place building our set for the Dickens Christmas Fair. It usually takes us two full weekends to get it done, with a few of us doing some work midweek as well, and we got it to about 98% in just this one weekend (Yay!) so we can spend some time on details and rehearsing next weekend. The fair starts the day after Thanksgiving, so it's getting close...can't wait! It's the most fun gig we do.
Bronco is heading to shop this morn to get windows fixed, oil change and new seats put in, etc
This weekend it gets detailed and a new sound system put in so I figure in two weeks time I`ll be cruising.
Good Morning NorCal,
Looks to be another beautiful day. I'm still working outside while I can. A chance of rain tomorrow, then rain Thursday, Friday, and possibly through the weekend.
Dan, where will you be at the Dicken's Christmas Faire? We're bringing the granddaughter down to SF to do some Christmas stuff and the Faire might be on the schedule. Let me know where you'll be, and we'll stop by.
Hope you all have a great day.

We're kind of hard to miss. My group is called "The Paddy West School of Seamanship", or just Paddy West" for short. We're the ragtag group of singing sailors who hang out at the London docks (also known as the Breezeway) which is the long hallway between the two larger sections of the fair. Here's a map which makes that a little more clear:
We do several shows a day there in the Breezeway on our own stage, as well as two shows down at Mad Sal's (you can ask anyone where it is, though it can also be seen on the map in the lower right-hand corner.) We don't have the schedule yet and probably won't till this Sunday so we don't know what times we'll down at Sal's, but it's typically around 2:30 and 5:30. The shows on Sal's stage tend to be a little more adult oriented. Nothing outright dirty, just suggestive and lots of innuendo...if the kids get it, it's already too late!
Hope to see you there, let me know when you're coming so I know when to look for you.
