Hi...Thanks Joe...I was just going to make a new forum, but you beat e to it.
Hi Jim!
I'm going back to bed again. still got a 102 fever that won't break. Blah!
Pics of lastnight are in my album on my profile page. Lastnight started out bad (lost a loved one), but as a parent you gotta move on & not dwell on it for the kids sake. So, all - n -all we had fun! After we got home from trick or treating & got the kids to bed, I had a chance to finally let my emotions out.
I am sorry to hear about your loved one. My prayers go out to you. I know it is not easy to lose someone you love, and I will pray that you can recover quickly.
dig em out now but I will prolly just buy a new battery and have one of helpers drive it home. He lives in Modesto so he can drive it in to me Thurs morn.
Afternoon everyone,
I hope everyone is having a great Hump Day!
Thanks again everyone for the well wishes & condolences. They're much appreciated.
My fever finally broke late lastnight & atleast now it's on the downward curve. I'm feeling extremely better today & even managed to get out of the house to run a few errands.
Not much to report here other than my truck has new knees (shock absorbers). Dan and I put the rear shocks on in September and I put the front ones on last weekend. I had to use my saws-all to cut out the old front ones at the top. While I was at it, I painted the whole area around the shocks, axle, and inside wheel arches black. It took a lot of power washing and scrubbing, but all four areas are now black and have new shocks.
For those who are interested, I bought the shocks from Summit Racing out of Sparks, NV. The rear ones came via mail and the front ones I bought in the store while driving through. I don't know if you've been to their Sparks store, but it is pretty amazing. They were very helpful with a return and getting me my new ones.
The front shocks are Ranchos, the rears are Skyjackers. Below is a picture of one of the new fronts (sorry, I forgot to tilt it before uploading the pic) and the old one it replaced.
