The pilot light is out, and the local gas company will not be here until Thursday morning to light it. So we are just bundling up. Also we have a swamp cooler, and need to put a cover or wrap plastic around it to help warm up the house. Our landlord usually does that, time to give them a call eh?
The pilot is out and pg&e wont be there until Thurs. Id honk the BS horn on that. Tell them you are disabled etc. Why dosent the landlord come over and light it. I`d be on the phone to him every hour until it`s lit. Sorry to rant Jim but this pisses me off. Have you tried Joe? Around the corner you know

I agree with you Hank. I think he should call PG&E and let them know!
Too be honest, I never even thought about calling the landlord! Her husband does all the maintenance on the place, and I am sure he can turn the pilot light on, I just always called PG&E to do it, only I procrastinated too much this year. She only lives 2 houses down. I can't get to her, because every time it rains the street floods (no sidewalks, and the drain is plugged with dirt/mud, has been for the last 8 years that I know of), and all I would need is to get stuck in the mud here, or worse, tip over in it. However, I can call her. I need to call her anyway, to have her husband come over and cover the swamp cooler for the winter. That makes the house warmer all by itself. If he can get the pilot light lit, I will be a happy camper.
As for Joe, we still have not even met yet. He is the closest FTE member (That I know about) and I have been out of the transitional center over a month now, and still no sign of him! I have his phone number around here somewhere, will have to call him on Tuesday, as I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, and those things take forever...

Hey Joe, I just saw the craigslist ad with the 1972 F-250 diesel. I would buy that in a heartbeat if I had the settlement already. Wonder if he will take an IOU?
Hey Gerry,
Thanks for the welcome...At the moment "Piglet" is in non-runnable condition. Her engine is out to the Machine Shop...which I'll visit tomorrow to see how much more it will all cost, Her front end is up on jack stands now while I do the brakes as I wait on the Machinist. Of course he also now has the wheel cylinders and brake drums...I should have just given him the truck.
Nighteyez, if I were closer to you I would come over and light that pilot light for you, as well as cover the swamp cooler. sorry I'm too far away. I will be traveling through Fresno at the end of December...Maybe I can stop by and say hey.
Sorry to go on and on. I hope the end of Daylight Saving's Time didn't goof you all up too much.
Good Morn
Who`s buying breakfast? lol. You know the answer, its Tony!!! Man 2 more races to go and I know Gigs will be glued to the tv as I will. Exciting race this year.

No problem Sparky, I welcome any visits, from any FTE'ers. When I get the '89 F-20 4x4 and 5th wheel, I will try and visit as many in Cali, and even one in Nevada as I can.
