Goodmorning guys!

Between racing & football...hmm, what a combination!

I've always like the 49ers, but they just aren't the team they used to be since they lost Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, & Ronnie Lott! Raiders?...take em' or leave em! Now, the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders (screw the football team) - it's all about the cheerleaders!
Racing on the other hand, NASCAR I really don't have a favorite "driver", but I do like the M&M's & the Miller Lite cars! NHRA Drags, John Force & Tony Shoemaker, LE Tonglet, & Melanie Troxel!

(rant alert!)
I used to be a Raiders fan, until Al Davis benched Marcus Allen for a full year. Then when they all went on strike for more money I stopped being a fan of any sport. What really did it for me was the year of no World Series due to a strike. BTW, I am still baffled over how they continue to call it a "world" series, when only 2 countries in the world are allowed to play in it? Bring Japan over, or Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) and I am sure things would be different. Their kids kick butt in Little League, I am sure the fathers would too. As for what Kyle Busch did, if I was in charge, I would ban him from racing. Hit him where it hurts. There is no call for doing what he did. Any fine they give him is going to be peanuts for an overpaid jerk like him.(rant off)

Now that I got that off my chest. Yeah I like to cook, as long as it means popping the food item in the microwave! Actually, since I am single, (always have been) if I don't cook, I don't eat. I used to cook before the accident. Now, everything is put in the microwave. However, my food stamps were replenished yesterday, and now I can go "big" shopping, and get some real food. I don't cook too many items, I mean hamburgers and hot dogs are a no brainer, but I like cooking omelets in the morning, and any dish with chicken in it. I love chicken, and try to make different chicken dishes whenever I can.

Called the landlord, and her husband doesn't know how to light the plot light. So, I will just wait until Thursday. I put a metal cover over the outlet in the ceiling for the swamp cooler, and that warmed the house up about 3 degrees. The landlord said her husband will come over and put the plastic over the swamp cooler. That will make it warmer also.

No worries, it is not 30 degrees outside yet, so it is okay for now. I am surprised how much warmer it is in here with just that swamp cooler outlet cover in place.

Good Morning NorCal...Looks to be a good "work outside" kind of day for me, though I feel winter in the air. I'd better get with it...Don't know how many of these we have left before it gets wet.
Hope you all have a great one!!

Goodmorning guys

Yeah...it's hump day! I'm sooo ready for Friday to get here!

Although I'm generally feeling better, apparently I'm having a reaction to the Avelox. The last 2 days I've had a mild rash (can barely see it with my tan), itching & tingling, headache & swelling in my face & hands. I just figured that the meds were working & knocking this s**t out of me & the swelling was from lack of sleep. I'm thinking that it's too strong of meds for me. So, now I get to call me Dr. & see what he wants to do, cause I can't afford a dr. visit, muchless to even waste the gas to get to town. In the meantime, I'm drinking water like it's going out of style to flush out my system - that's all I can think to do. All in all I feel fine...but this stupid prickley/tingling feeling is driving me nuts! Kinda feels like when your hand falls asleep, except it's all over my body.

Rain is not "scheduled" to get here until Friday. And normally I wouldn't care if it rained or not, but Friday is Veteran's day, and Applebees has free meals for veterans. I wanted to go this year (I have never been) and get my free meal, but if it is raining, I will have to decline. The street always floods, and even if I make it past that, I would still be sitting out in the rain waiting for the stupid city bus to get here.

Aawww...thanks Hank! There working for the sickness part of it. I just quit taking my Avelox due to my allergic reaction until my Dr. can prescribe me something else.
