Cool pics, scott! Thanks for sharing! You guys are totally right, mountain biking is more physically demanding, but I've gotten off my Duc or the 636 with noodle legs for sure. It's easy to tell when your riding wrong, there are muscles getting sore that shouldn't be. Plus, I'm still having too much ***, and it's harder and harder to hang it off the side of the bike. By the last session, it's dragging as well. Hey scott...where where those pics?
Scott - SWEEEEEETTTTTNESSSSS!!!! Very cool! I'm also curious as to what track(s) those were taken at. Very cool!
I agree with Rocket...either you ride wrong and certain muscles hurt that shouldn't or you are finally riding correctly and you are using muscles that you haven't used yet or in a loooong while. LOL
I'd love to get my weight back down as well. Let fat to throw from side to side going from turn to turn/corner to corner!
I soooo hear you about the "noodle legs", Rocket! I remember doing a 600+ canyon ride before with some friends in CA when I lived there and I was DYING when I was done. I could barely get off the bike at gas stops. After a while, I actually had to just slow down because I was afraid I couldn't get my body over for the next corner. LOL It was truly that bad. The last 10 miles of canyons, I just "cruised" through because I couldn't get my body over and didn't trust myself. LOL Luckily the trip home was all slab, so I just laid on my tank the entire way home and never moved. LOL!!!! Good times!
Mornin' to all today! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I can't believe that Thanksgiving is only a couple weeks away or so. Wow. Just amazing. Well, I'm off again to San Diego tomorrow to give it another try for another interview down there. We'll see how this one goes. Nothing else has panned out so far, but that doesn't mean that something won't.
I'm also starting to eat right today, so don't mind me if I get a lil "grumpy" LOL!!!
Good evening everyone. Found the problem with my clutch. The hydraulic line hit my exhaust and melted. I put a 1/4 inch compression coupling on it. Here's hoping it holds up.
Gerry, The '96 doesn't look nearly as good as it did. With the body being bad (the cab on the driver side is sitting on the frame) I am going to end up pulling the engine and transmission to put them in the '71. EFI 460, ZF5 trans in a '71 With any luck I will be able to start the transplant next year
