Wow Mat...those are great pictures! What a cutie! Actually you look familiar in the last picture. I wonder if I've seen you before 2009 or 2010 at LVMS taking pictures. Hmm...guess we'll never really know! The first picture you actually look kinda buffed! You look good in all the pictures though. It's what you like & how you feel that matters! You probably feel healthier too with less weight, huh? I'm the same way. when I weigh 130- 135 my back, knees, & hips hurt constantly. But, when I weigh 120 - 125 I feel great!
Can I have your bike? I'll hold it for you until you reach your goal weight?!
What kind of bike is it? I really need to look into getting me one.
Mat, I finally see your problem, the bike you have has a motor on it and it doesnt require much effort to make it go. See you need a manual bike to "pedal" and therefore causing you to use energy to keep moving forward!

I just knew there was a catch to this bike thing!!

[quote=jarod17;11023354]Good evening everyone. Hey Scott, if you want to get rid of some weight, send it my way. I am 5'11" and want to go from my current 145 to 185.
If only it were that easy. There would be no anorexia or obesity. I think someone should make an app for that. Make a good plot for a book or movie anyway
Not normally. when it snows, it's normally 2-6 inches for a day or 2 & it typically melts away within 24 - 48 hrs. However, about every 10 yrs we get a major snow storm (nonstop snow for 4-5 days) that burries us in like 3-4 feet on the side roads & in driveways. They do try to keep the main roads, emergency access roads & highways clear - somewhat icy & slick, but clear enough not to need chains most of the time!
I'm not as young as I used to be, so therefore I don't enjoy the snow anymore. My bones & joints can't take the cold. Ok, maybe if I was practicing skid control in an empty parking lot all by myself! Other than that...keep it in ski country - Lake Tahoe, Incline, other states. LOL! If I want the snow that bad, I'll travel to it!

Good point Scott!
The key word there..."keep moving forward!" (positive thinking)
No matter what you chose to do Mat...biking, swimming, walking, running, the gym, etc. You've done it before....You can do it again!
Never look or step back:always keep moving & looking forward!
WOOHOO! Right on, I bet it felt good to be able to drive it, huh?
Oh yea. It felt real good driving my own truck instead of another mans truck. As soon as it is done I will take a few pics. After that I will have to find some snow and practice skid control in an empty parking lot I'm half decent and can do it in 4WD but that was with an auto. I have no experience with a stick
