My fever finally broke late lastnight & atleast now it's on the downward curve. I'm feeling extremely better today & even managed to get out of the house to run a few errands.

Afternoon to ya all!

Glad to hear you're doing better Miss Donna...

OMG did I have an eventful night. Not a good one at that. My frickin' next door neighbors decided to party alllllll night for whatever darn reason. They ended up stopping at about 4:30 am. I could hear this one loud mouth lady yapping over everyone else allll night. I went to sleep around 11 pm and woke up to her yapping around 2 am or so and couldn't get back to sleep until they stopped yelling and partying around 4:30 am. I had to get up at 6:45 am to get ready for my IT test at 8:30 am with the city. So, I finally fell asleep at 4:30 am and my wife's alarm went off at 4:47 am and woke me back up. UGGGGHHH! Worse yet, the neighbor's stupid backyard light is positioned so that it shines over the top of the brick wall and into our back yard and directly into the side of our bedroom window. Hard to explain how it's aligned, but it shines right onto the side of our bedroom window. We even have frickin' blackout drapes (from when I worked graves and slept during the day) and the light STILL shines around it!!!! So, as soon as my wife let the dog out (about 4:50 am), magically the light turned off. Otherwise, it was on all frickin' night.

So, needless to say, I was completely exhausted and pissed off this morning. I also don't think I did very well on the IT test. Normally I'm very good with IT stuff, but I guess not with this test. I'll find out my official test score within a few days. I'd need at least an 85 to move on to the next part of the hiring process. Yaaaaa, I don't think it's happenin'.

As for my background interview, that is tomorrow in San Diego. I have to go to bed early tonight and get up at like 3 am to drive down to San Diego and be there by 9 am for my background interview. After it's done (about 2-3 hrs), then I'll drive back home. Ya, I'm gonna be dead tired by the time I'm done tomorrow. But I pray that goes well because that's the job I really want.

Gerry - Thanks...just having friends that care cheers me up!

Mat - Sorry that your neighbors were poopheads & that your test didn't go as well as hoped. Hopefully they won't party tonight! Try to get some rest & good luck on your interview tomorrow. Keep us posted on the results.

Lastnight was horrible! I didn't get much sleep because 103 fever came back with body ache & muscle cramps in my neck (weird). So, I'm off to bed again to try to get over this s**t! I'm so tired of being sick! Atleast it's not coming out either end. Not sure what this is (other than a sinus/head cold), but it's not the typical flu that's for sure! Blah yucky poopoo!!!
Sorry I'm not myself lately. I sure miss you guys! I'll be back to normal soon.

I called my doctor yesterday to get my Synthroid meds refilled after 4 days of being out of them & possibly get an appt. The pharmacy & myself has tried to call my doctor to no avail. yesterday & today. I gotta get it refilled soon before my body/organs start shutting down. Maybe that's part of the reason that this cold is dragging on too. Who knows?! At the rate my Dr. is getting back to me, I'll be in the hospital or dead by then. (ok, maybe not to that extreme, but I feel like it) I so need a new Family Dr.

 

Damn...and I thought Scott was talkin' to me. LOL!!!! Just kidding!!!!

Well, I'm sorry that your sickness is coming back to you, Miss Donna. That always sucks. I'll send good wishes out to you to help you feel better.

Well, no such luck for me regarding the IT test. When I got home from San Diego tonight I checked and found out I failed the test. I'm not really surprised though. I wasn't too confident when taking the test because they were asking things I hadn't really handled before. Time to take some different classes and then take some more tests.

However, all I can do now is keep my fingers crossed that my other interview today in San Diego went well. I felt good with everything, but you never know. He now has to write his report and send it up his chain of command and they make the final decision on whether I continue with the hiring process or not. To my understanding I should hear from them within two weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed.
