Yes Bruce, I do have plenty of firewood. I'm going to a friends as well, so no dishes for me either! Just have to bake some pies today.

Good deal for you too Michelle. We have a similar good deal as some very good friends (really great cooks,) have invited us to their place for TG. Should be a super day.

Hey Donna, It had not occurred to me that turkey day and hump day are the same day. I hope that doesn't mean we have to hump a turkey!!! I don't even want to think about "stuffing!" Never liked that stuff much anyway.

So who has a four day weekend?

It's gonna be a cold one! We are working at the North Pole for the Polar Express Santa Train on Fri., Sat., & Sun. for the next 4 weeks! BRRRR!!!!
It'll be fun though! The kids & I (and our friend) in our elf costumes waving at the train when it comes by to pick up Santa. Atleast we'll have a small travel trailer hidden behind the buildings to sit in & keep warm while we wait for the train.

 

Good deal having the travel trailer Donna. You can bring food, drinks and games to play.

On a bit sadder note, I found out yesterday that I didn't make it into backgrounds for my last interview in San Diego. There was one position and one person beat me out. I came in 2nd...ya, first loser. LOL So, they said if anything happens with that person in backgrounds and they get kicked out, then I would go in, but that won't happen, most likely.

So, now I'm totally back at square one. I have no other prospects in SD at this time. That was my last one. Oh well...I still have much to be thankful for on this day (and every day, actually), so I just have to remember that and keep my head up, even though it's hard most times.

Everyone have a wonderful day, enjoy what you have and don't always brood over what you don't have or what you want. Realize what you actually have right in front of you.

I'm also thankful for all of you here. Definitely a great crowd of friends to chat with!

I NEVER go out to ANY store unless I absolutely have to. LOL No way do I want to be anywhere around any of that today! LOL

I've been reviewing basketball shots this morning because I have to shoot the Las Vegas Invitational (Men's NCAA Basketball) later today. I've never shot basketball before, so this will be a first for me. Nothing like doing last minute research before doing a shoot.

Hopefully I come up with some decent shots today/tonight.
