Lol! You know that you'd love to come home to a bubble gum pink Bronco.

Ok I know and will admit its REALLY faded red, but it is not pink. And I know I would NOT like to come home to that and neither would you.

Speaking of home, how is the new house thing going and the job hunt any good leads?

Well Penny will be here in a couple of hours and then I am taking her to a nice seafood restaurant and will be at the beach side bar tonight.

I think we have earned a few cold one's.....

I hope that you two have a lovely evening.

Honestly, I've got lots of leads, lots of connections, and lots occurring on the job front....but no job yet.

This house still sucks.

Oh well. It kept us cool in the summer (eventually) and thus far is keeping us warm in the winter. It'll do.

I would, except for the fact I will be worrying about you sneaking down and painting my bronco, lol. Oh no need for me to worry, my neighbor/bro-inlaw is a awesome shot, lol.

No really he is a hell of a shooter, I would hate to get in his sights.

Hang in there with the job hunt and the house deal, it was for a better reason to move, remember? Cool, warm and dry is always a plus when it comes to a roof over the head.

Good deal, Ches.

I'm kicking around the idea of laying some white down on the roof of the '89 Ford tomorrow. We'll have to see what the day brings. I stayed true to my word and haven't done crap today. I feel a little guilty for it, but tomorrow's another day.

Some cars the engine computer is just an operating computer and the body control module is where the vin and mileage is stored and THAT computer is the one that needs to be flashed. They charge around $75 for the service. It's crap, I know, but you need it to get a newer car running. I bought a computer for my '90 Corvette, plugged it in and started the car. No issues. Don't worry about having it "flashed". You just don't need it on a car 1992 or older. 1994 was the first year for OBD1 and 1997 was the first year for OBD2. (O.B.D. = On Board Diagnostics)

Thanks for the info there Widow Maker. As I said, I know LESS THAN Jack about these things. Buddy was telling me he had to do his on a shovelitaway. Think it was newer than Old Rusty too. That's one less thing to worry about. Just hope this guy isn't selling junk. Sounds like it's just plug it in & I should be good to go then.

I guarantee the Chevy was MUCH newer than your truck. Probably a '97 or newer. You're right, it's just a plug and play deal. Like I said, my Corvette was too. Just plug in the new computer and drive away. (assuming that's the only problem)

My only concern & forgot to ask him is WHY did it fry in the first place? Hate to have him put this one & have it fry in a week, month, whatever.

This makes me happy. It'll make you a ton happier in the long run, too. Good call.
