Did anybody else watch that Chiefs game last night? Both teams left something to be desired, but it was a GREAT game to watch!

Yea I could of but, didn't want a double Nov thread like last time. Besides it is really your responsibility since you are the "chapter leader" and all. (insert sarcasam/and a laugh)

Didn't watch the game cause I am try to get down to one suitcase and pack light, I hate dragging 2 thru the airport.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...sometimes the awesome responsibilities of Chapter Leadership are just too much for one man...

Does 60/30 mean that you'll be gone for two months, then home for a month?

When I went, I had one duffel and one carry on. Coming home, the duffel got mailed back and all I had was one carry on. It makes life much easier.

Cora's sick so I have to take her to the doctor's today. She must have a bug or something. She's complaining about abdominal pain. (doesn't appear to be girl stuff related)

I don't watch football. However I do route for the Chumps to loose though. Yes I said loose. I have my reasons.

Trying to get home from work yesterday was nightmare due to game traffic.

LOL! You're allowed, I promise.

I used to live in Independence and in Raytown...I KNOW how hard it is to get home when they've got a home game...

The company is covering the baggage cost if any, on the way over and yes I mailed both bags home last time I was over there. Carry on only is the way to roll.....

But I have some time in Florida and do not want to wear the same t shirt every other day stateside, we know over there it does not matter.

Flu Shot News this morning on channel ten:

The local news reported that flu shots were found to be only 60% effective at preventing the flu. For years they said the shot would not give you the flu, BUT you may experience "flu-like symptoms" for a few days.

REALLY? Since I only had pneumonia for 6 days, 3-5 days of "flu-like symptoms" sounds A LOT like getting the flu!

Now they say the shot is only 60% effective. Correct me if I'm wrong, but 60% is dangerously close to 50%.

If I'm close to a 50/50 chance of getting the flu WITH a flu shot, then why the heck would I even bother with it??!! I get the same odds without a flu shot!

This is just my opinion, but I think someone has gotten some serious financial gain from telling the general public they have to have a flu shot or they'll be sorry. Of course the media hasn't helped things any by pressing their importance. BUT once you take a hard look at the numbers, it appears it just doesn't matter if you get one or not. Funny, this has been my position on the subject for years! I never got a flu shot in the '70's or '80's and yet I'm still here.

Good morning everybody. Who watched the Chefs win in OT? I was too tired and fell asleep mid fourth quarter. Man, my couch is not that comfortable on my neck.

Oh, I did. I'm not a big fan of either team, but that was a good game. Rivers is going to have to wait a long time to live that one down...

That's the truth. we had family and trick or treaters at the house til third quarter so that's when I finally got to actually watch the game. Then the wife was waking me up to go to bed. I've got to quit waking up at 4:00
