Yep, on the newer harness you have to grind down the quarter more than shown in the classic 50 cent mod writeup by Chris. I have an 02 and I had to grind off perhaps 40% of the quarter. I have a pic somewhere but with the new linux distro on my computer I can't seem to find anything... Anyhow, make the quarter fit so that the valve cover will prevent the quarter from escaping the clip and you'll have no worries.

Well, it seems that the ICP sensor was the culprit! Got everything back together today, new ICP sensor, 50 cent mod done, and so far so good. Drove it for about 30 minutes today, not a single hiccup. Thanks a BUNCH for all your help guys, I couldn't have done it without you!

Yes, those are the newer style harnesses. With the new style you don't need the quarters because it's nearly impossible for those to work themselves loose.

Glad you got your issue solved with the ICP sensor.
Sometimes they still work fine even with oil in the plug but eventually it can cause problems....usually will throw a code related to IC pressure above or below expected levels.

Hope you got the ICP issue fixed, I chased mine for 6 months and then it stopped popping up, I thought it was fixed....during winter...... then as soon as it got over 90 degrees out it was back. I notice mine only seems to pop the ICP code when it is almost time for a oil change and it is hot out side, and has been running at least 30 minutes. I just drive it now, if it starts really freaking out I pop the hood and unplug it.

Have you tried replacing the sensor AND the plug/pigtail?

I replaced the ICP, the IPR, and the FPR in Febuary and then replaced the pigtail about 2 months later.
