I have a 99 F250 SD 7.3 and im going to put cab lights (roof clearance lights) on it. I want to take the headliner out in order to run the wires for the lights but i dont wanna mess anything up. Anybody done this before or know how to do this?

 

I just lowered it enough to do the work vs removing the entire thing. Seemed much easier. The driver's side A pillar just pops off, remove the passenger side grab handle and that A pillar cover will come off as well. Pull down the rubber trim around the door opening and the headliner will fall down enough to do the work.

If you have the overhead console, you will have to remove it also.

along with that if you want it completely down the back pillars need to come off as well and possibly seat belts, for sure for the front seats and also dome light. the seats are held in with a large star head bit
