Adding Interior Lights
I have an 06 F250 CC that I have an overhead DVD player installed in. The DVD player has two small overhead "map" lights that work when I turn on the interior lights.
The problem is that these lights are pretty far back and don't help much in the front seat area. Has anyone ever installed additional overhead lights inside the cab?
I have the overhead console right in front of my rearview mirror but it doesn't appear to have any power going to it.
Ideally, I would like a small light on the bottom of that console that would light but the front seat area.
Any thoughts?

An Option . . .
I have a moonroof so there is only room for a mini console on top of/ in front of the rear view mirror. You might see if it could be retro fitted into your's? It has two map lights, the roof switch, and wiring would be a snap if you could figure out the install. 
All I know at this point except that some have installed single LED lights there but they aren't that bright, if that is what you really want. Bright light to see by.
