I am curious if they charged you for all the diagnostic work they did on your truck. Was it the same dealership that had "replaced" your cps previously? I hope that you have found the issue to your problems.
Well, it's been a week of driving the truck every day with no return of the issue. I actually called the dealership that said they replaced it originally. They said that the recall states to "inspect" the part. Evidently the service tech felt that it looked like the new ford part, therefore left it in place. They never tested to see if it was working properly.
It really seems as though replacing the CPS with an original Ford one corrected the issue. My truck is running nice again. I had forgotten how nice it could run.
Now that it is fixed, I can start doing the mods that I wanted to do. Intake, exhaust, chip. You know, the little stuff.
Again, thanks to everyone that offered input (which I apparently didn't utilize). I will definitely be more receptive in the future.
