I also thought that the glow plug where pretty good on the 6.0, not many complaint about them. Is it hard to get at? Where are they?
I remember my old 7.3, my head was under the hood every winter for a burnt glow plug.

I had 2 glow plug codes and they were not the problem. Replaced them both and truck still startd rough, idled rough and smoked.. Ended up being the FICM, sent it off and had it back in a few days. Starts like a dream!! Check the FICM voltage fo-sho!!

Sorry BLADE35 to be complicate at time to explaine my situation.
the thing is I got a truck F50 6.0L Disel engine as you see the last time; what happing is he is turning (starting) but never ran or crack?
in another words did not work... so I'm planing to replace the haed gaskeck's in orden to see if I got lack of power in the chambers?
I got not code's cause the truck came from auction, so don't know the history behing?.
Do you belive is possible the head gaskeck is blow out? and could be the reason why the engine won run?

I think that there would be alot of things I would check before Pulling the heads off

have you got the codes read?????? not, because my brother in love tell me it wasn't able(don't have any at the time to read) because the lack of time the truck was seating in the yard or where in the auction place.
