Good- The list price on a glow plug is only $15.88.
#4 is pretty easy to get to so not a lot of time.
Bad- It's hard to get the wire off the plug without breaking the harness/connector. If they do, they were lucky or good (or both ). If it does break, you'll likely get a new harness. If you get a new harness it's a pretty good idea to change the other three glow plugs on that side so you don't have to maybe buy another harness if one of them fails. Just to let you know ahead of time if it comes up they're not jacking you around.
Spend to save I guess.
Not sure about total cost, I'm not a Tech and have so-far managed to not buy a harness. Just happened to have a receipt for a glow plug on my workbench.
