Edge VS Sct tuners

I currently have an Edge evolution in my truck, works great for monitoring temps, and im okay with the power gains on the highest level, but looking for a more agressive tune, plus im seriously considering injectors.

My questions is...without doing injectors, if I bought an SCT tuner will I notice a bigger power gain with a custom tune?

I have head studs so I am not to concerned about blowing gaskets again, still have stock EGR system w/a bullet proof EGR cooler.

Updated HPO parts.

The main thing for me would be keeping the tranny in it with the Edge tunner and maybe it was the edge Juice that has issues I just know theres a couple to watch out for

I dont know about the horse power gains

Hopfulley Tex will chime In I beleive he has reasreched the diffrent tunners

Did you have this Edge tunner on the truck before the tranny went out Tyler

I like the evo, because im able to adjust all transmission settings, its not shift on the fly, and I like how good it looks mounted on the dash.

No, I hate the edge juice, that one blew my transmission, that one had a date with the garbage can

This one you don't even notice the shifts.

I wish I had $ to man. haha.

I can get injectors for $1250 with cores.

I helped a friend install his about a week ago, he said he can tell the diff in mid range power.

I just cant afford to do a turbo and injectors.

So I might do injectors first then save some extra $ for a turbo.

Be careful. If you do injectors first, be sure to dial down the amount of fuel going through them. When you get your custom tune be sure to tell your tuner whose injectors you have as you can't take out the same amount of fuel out of all injectors. For instance, the amount of fuel you can pull from Casserly's injectors (from Full Force Diesel and how I would recommend for your modified injector needs) is not going to be the same as the amount that you take out of Josh's injectors (RCD).
