I got it jacked up and chased the wire from the oil filter housing all the way to the front drivers frame rail where it goes over the top and down to the two fog lamps. There is a 1-2 ft loop that has not plug and goes back the same way in which it came. No plug from Ford for some reason. The question I have now is when I buy a new cord to replace this will leaving the OE cable in tact, because God knows where it goes cause any issues?
Unless you add a new plug to the cord you found, you will need to replace the whole cord. It screws in at the engine end.
The cord can be purchased separately and plugged into the heater you already have. You can order one from any truck dealer by asking for a phillips & temro (zerostart) cord #3600008

Did you pull on the loop or fallow the loop to the end? If so at the end What does it do? connect back to the wire or is it just taped? Sounds like someone cut the plug off
it sounds to me likeyou got it.maybe someone stuck it in the frame rail and its just hung up. grab ahold of it where it heads back towards where it came from and jerk that sob out of there. worst case you have to put a new plug on the end of it.

YEs it just goes back over the frame rail and heads back where it came from. Under the drivers side fog lamp there is 12-18 inch loop with nothing on it tied up. It also has the pass side for lamp wires going that direction.
I guess I am still screwed up on this. If I unplug the wires on factory heating element will the new cord I bought fit into that? Do I just tie up the factory wire coming out of the heater element that does not have any purpose or plug that I can find?

The Zerostart 360008 cord will plug into the factory heating element above the filter. Should have a screw tightening ring to secure it on that end. Tie up or cut the factory wire off the frame, it doesn't matter. Be sure you secure the new power cord so it doesn't rub on any moving parts or get in the way of operational parts of the truck.

You need to find the end of the cord. One end is in the block/oil and the other end is free and just crammed up into the frame somewhere. Find that end and I am sure there is a male plug on it. You don't need to buy another cord....until you find the free end of the cord that is on there and see if there is a problem with it.... which you have not shown that there is a problem with the cord that is on it. The only thing that you has said is that it goes back up into the framing.
