Thanks for all your help.

From what I hear that android will get most of the same stuff as the scangauge will

can you pick up ICP next time you crank
and If you can IPR% too
Android is supposed to be a great unit

How were you able to pressure test the HPO rails and stuff without commanding the IPR closed
The IPR is the valve that controls the pressure without power to it its in the open position letting all the air go to crankcase

I took the HPOP cover off and ran air right into the drain tube.

Then I also disconnected the branch tube from the HPO rail and ran air directly into the HPO rail.

IPR is brand new. ICP showed no sign of oil on connection. Also I had previously disconnected ICP when car was running and it still had the same problem.

at KOEO your IPR should have a reading of 14.84% or close to that

Man I would think a brand new IPR would work Wonder if its got a wire chaffe or something

I honestlt think the code is for open circut meaning wireing problem not nessacerly a open valve even though its default position is open IIRC

IPR circuit failure---open/grounded circuit, stuck valve, or loose connection. I think it's a wire too, Benny.

I did pour some oil back into oil filter housing. Didn't seem to help.

I guess I'll have to take it back apart and start looking for wire issues.
Any suggestions on common places to start?

you have to pull the filter and dump the oil down the center of the filter houseing
If the oil went around the outside of filter it just goes to the oil pan

once you get the IPR issue resolved it should pump up and start

I did pull the filter. Do I also need to pull the long black thing the filter sits on?
Are there two different holes the oil will drain out of?

yes you would have to pull the oil filter stand pipe in ordeer to fill it

But its probably already full in HPO reservoir or at least the oil cooler the problem is the IPR is stuck open just returning the oil to the Oil Pan not building any pressure to fire the injectors

I wouldnt worrey about filling the HPO reservoir it will Fill itself when the IPR situation gets resolved

You could dump oil down it all day long it wont start till the IPR gets resolved

Have you made shure that the IPR is Fulley plugged in

I can see that the IPR is plugged in. Also I am able to reach my hand in and confirm. I also checked to make sure that the ground wire is reconnected and that everything is properly connected to the FICM. Where else should I check?

Heres the code definition

P2623 C O R Injector Control Pressure Regulator Circuit IPR circuit failure Open/grounded circuit, stuck IPR, loose connection

have you tried since you wiggled the IPR connection

I would think the new IPR is good but you never know I guess Did you get this same code B4 you changed the IPR Valve or just the no start Hot

Initial code was P 2291

Not getting that code anymore.

I suppose I'll have to start taking it apart and check for something loose.

So after praying first (something the past year has taught me to do) I quickly found what appears to be the problem. This is my IPR connection.

Any suggestions on how to fix this. Just using electrical tape seems to be a bit iffy since the wires are so close together.

Thanks.

I think I'll try liquid electrical tape. Any opinions on this?
