Thanks MK2 That is very insightful and that is a great solution for the crappy oem ebrake set up. It may not be a solution for a parking brake but for winching or launching a boat it is a great solution. So this now on my wish list or should I say parts to buy list.

Now where you mounted your makes alot of sense but I would have thought you would have issues bleeding the ABS pump and brakes. I thought there was a special way you had to bleed the ABS pump? Was that a issue for you?
The way you have it wired sounds like a sweet set up also.
Do you have any photos...please.

I took the line going in to the abs loose and tried bleeding it down first. I was worried about trapping air in the abs which was why I did it that way. That was a pita and after a few failed attempts I took the line loose (not off) at the master cylinder and just let gravity work for me. The air naturally traveled up, just make sure you're mc stays full. If you're not comfortable doing it that way, you can follow the bleeding procedure as if you'd replaced the mc. My brakes feel the same as before I started messing with anything, so I stopped there.

I'll take pics of the setup when my EX comes back to me. My dad borrowed it for a hunting trip cuz it pulls his TT smoother than his gas 2500HD .
