Cam Position Sensor
What is new on the CPS these days?
What color/part number is the best to buy.
I ask because I am seeing some on E Bay. One is dark grey and the other is light grey.
I had heard that the only way to go was with the black ones.
I want to get one for a spare.
Fill me in here so I don't buy trouble.

If you are looking for a spare, just get an OEM light grey one. You should be able to pick one up from Parts Guy Ed for under $20. There are some on eBay that are cheaper, just don't fall for anything more than that.
If you have questions about which CPS does what and how they perform, checkout my page on the differences I saw testing them in my truck.

Not sure where up got that from but that is waaay over priced. Clay did sell the black ones for about 50 bucks but I think he is sold out and not sure if hes getting anymore.

I am not sure where you can get more OEM black CPS's at, but they are the way to go. I have three of them from Clay and a couple of the two gray styles too. Before the recall the OEM black ones were about $130 on eBay. Then after the recall the gray ones are $30. I stocked up while the black ones were around.
