AE TEST
When running the Key On Engine Off Switch test on the AE - what actually does that check and how is it different from pulling any codes on the initial start-up?

The switch test basically records every switch function and tells you if you pass or fail. If you do not do them all you will get codes for them. You can do the same in the other AE screens if you suspect a certain switch to not be working.
