good luck glr, i'm pretty sure i've narrowed down the problem on the jeep to just a couple things - either the wheel bearings or the ujoints - will prolly look into that further this weekend. once i have it running again and fix the driver side window i'll have to get it inspected as well
not yet but will in feb for the bronco and as soon as i fix the jeep i'll need one for it - know a place? I usually use Franks but i think they may have actually caused the problem w/ the jeep since they swapped out the wheel bearings and the problem feels like misaligned wheel bearings so fellow marine or not if that proves to be the case dunno if i'll keep using their shop
so VA can inspect my truck even though it is a ny truck? i dont think this truck
would pass the VA inspection. it does not have a single emission item on it.
The previous owner stripped it from all of that stuff. used to be a mud truck only.
everything works on it BESIDES the emissions and the heater motor, and the reverse lights and the rear plate lights and the .................... LOL
Rob, I just got the wagon inspected in VA just in case a LEO wanted to get me for an expired inspection. (I kept the vehicle down there for around 6 yrs and didn't feel like taking it back to NY every year for insp.) I think in NOVA there is emissions testing but, don't know about your truck. If your going to keep your residency in NY it will give you a good excuse for a road trip every year.
