Morning Chandler. Rob, John and all. Nice 32* here this AM. NY has that bumper height law too. Most of the stock trucks, including mine, don't meet the requirements.
A good friend of mine, and his family, own 12+ acres on a small lake/reservoir just south of Farmville, VA. We help pay the taxes on the abutting 300+ acres so that we have some hunting space. So given that info, we put together a little gathering each year about this time for a "field party". The neighbors have a poured concrete slab and roofed structure (kinda like a large picnic area) that sits right on the lake that they let us use for the day. It's turned into quite a nice little event for our friends. About 65 people planned to attend this year. Catered some BBQ in. Making a large cauldron of Brunswick stew over an open fire. Camping out tomorrow night and breakfast will be served on Sunday morning. We even have two port-o-johns coming for those that don't like doing business in the woods.
The front bumper height of trucks whose gross vehicle weight ratings are 4,500 pounds or less shall be
no less than 14 inches and no more than 28 inches, and their rear bumper height shall be no less than 14
inches and no more than 28 inches. The front bumper height of trucks whose gross vehicle weight ratings
are 4,501 pounds to 7,500 pounds shall be no less than 14 inches and no more than 29 inches, and their
rear bumper height shall be no less than 14 inches and no more than 30 inches. The front bumper height
of trucks whose gross vehicle weight ratings are 7,501 pounds to 15,000 pounds shall be no less than 14
inches and no more than 30 inches, and their rear bumper height shall be no less than 14 inches and no
more than 31 inches.
Thanks Rob. Should be a good time, no doubt.
Had to make the trip over to BassPro last night to get cots for the wife and I. She doesn't appreciate the creepy crawlies very much, and just about flipped last year when she woke up with a dead spider near her head. So now she'll be 20" up off the tent bottom and hopefully I won't have to hear about it.
Happy wife = happy life
Good morning!
did the cop pull you over because your bumpers are too high?
mine have got to be like 30 plus inches high or higher.
33" front and back(3 over in front, 2 over in back)
soon to be 34" front and back lol
i think major need for fender flares caught his eye, is why he pulled me
i know the law, just trying to make it legal without lowering it if possible
