Sorry to hear about your little donation to the state Trey.
Isn't there an average speed law that you can use as a defense.
Seems to me I remember something about the average speed of 85% of cars on a particular road being the mean speed of the road. Might be worth a little research and maybe it doesn't apply here. Don't remember.
On a happier note, how 'bout a little fall color from Logan Cyn. Scenic byway. Northern Utah heading to Jackson Wyo.

I could have fought it and probably won. But I decided not to. In fact I'm pretty sure he didn't clock me at all. When I saw him I looked down and I was doing 85, not 82. He probably got one of the other 20 cars in the 3 lanes between him and I.
But fact is, I was above the speed limit, and I didn't have my license. Also, the court was all the way in west Covina and I decided to just suck it up and take it in the gut.

Probably the right thing.
If it makes you feel any better you're not alone in the "my wallet has a hole in it" syndrome.
My daughter called us as we were driving north today and said her tranny won't shift into reverse. Cripes, it never ends.
I'm not there to check it, so over to Leons tranny it goes. Oh well.

Is it raining down there in LA? My sister goes to school at USC but lives here in Ventura. She totaled her car in an accident today. My mom is going to pick her up but they arent home yet. I was wondering if weather could have played a factor.

Marc, too true. My wife and i had this conversation: Front yard trees need major trimming. Estimate is 1500 smackers. Sean say's 'Hey, i've got this sweet McColloch Chain saw and a ladder, I'll do it for much less'. Wife says 'yeah, no,ER Bill $2000, reattach limb $4000, rehab $2000.' OK I say, yeah let the 'arboriculturalist" do it, but I took dat tree science klass in skool!

I can visualize the logic here. 2 very important people with equally important agendas. Me first wins the prize.

Hi guys!
What crappy weather, huh? It's not even officially winter yet & it's already snowing!
This sucks!!! LOL! Time to break out the longjohns & electric blankets.
Atleast I'm at home, so I can curl up in my electric blanket & do online stuff.
Have a great day everyone.
