Which is what it was designed to be. IIRC its towing rating is just enough so that someone can pull some toys to go have some fun, but not much else.

Both Sat and Sunday's Ventura paper had articles on the discovery of a couple of cars that drove or fell off Lake Hughes Rd near Castaic. I wonder how often this type of thing happens? Today's paper had a photo of the car on a cable, being fished out of the ravine. Tough old guy to survive so long, good thing these was water to drink down there.

I heard about that on the radio. That man is very lucky to be alive. I can't even imagine what it must have been like going over the side of that road, down into the bottom of the ravine and landing next to another vehicle with a dead, decomposing body inside that other vehicle.

Seems as though someone might want to suggest a guard rail to the powers that be, for that point on the road above!

What! You want LOGIC out of our government, too?

Just when we finally get Hope and Change?

Ludicrous!

I would have bet money that the two cars collided and went over the ravine together. I would have lost that bet.

Grim news from pair of LA crashes provides closure - Whittier Daily News

Wild coincidence that within a week or two of each other, two elderly guys run off the road at exactly the same spot.

I'm sorry pop it shows my youthful naivite, my assumption was that a human being would suggest a guardrail to the local powers that be..... I forget that we are in a world of Hope! Well that is all we can have when we have no intelligent leadership... and what we actually do have is no leader in any sense of the word...... As for change.... welllll ! we don't even have change left in the coffers to pay the bills. I guess a few of the locals could go up and chop down alocal tree and block the path into the ravine... oh wait, they won't do that .... there is no money in it for anyone!

WHAT WAS A I THINKING, I hate it when I expect people to act like Human beings....

Yup I am a 50 year old yoot, who is tired if the liberal bent BS spread by the severely annoying, tree hugging, agenda pushing media... I guess I am too naive.. in that I expect people to be honest, and loyal! can we return to the days of an agreement being sealed with a hand shakes???

This thread needs a change of subject, but quick.

Here's what the cat thinks of politics in our chapter forum:
