Given the mass consolidation of that entire industry, where basically three owners have it all, I suspect there are almost no more "class acts", anywhere. Everything is very, very cut-throat.
The accumulation of outlets, and the resultant debt-load on those companies, has caused a no-holds scramble for cash, at a time when advertisers have many, many more venues in which to sink their bucks. Most others pay better returns, too.
Want a high-pressure job? Consider getting into radio time sales! Unfortunately, the remuneration for that pressure is poor, and the security is non-existant!
Contemporary radio, as we knew it in the past, is destined to be virtually non-existent soon.
