Good Sunday morning Ladies and Gents
Should be finishing up the roof seal job on my trailer today. No doubt my fingers and clothing will have Dicor in various spots to compliment the waft of my acetone cologne. What a joy it has been!

Sure did, but I made the rookie mistake of going opening weekend and the full moon was up the entire night Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Columbian Blacktails are mostly nocturnal so the bucks were rarely out during the day, at least none that were less than 500+ yards from me. 
A few weekends later I had a deer in the crosshairs at about 100 yards, but it was standing under a tree and saw me at the same time that I spotted it. It's head was up in the oak tree branches so I could not tell if it was a buck for sure and, if it was, whether or not it had forks. Of course, once it decided our staring contest was over and it turned and trotted away down the hillside out of view I could see the nice long forks and thick antler bases.
Not my year!
I didn't get entirely skunked as I got a nice size boar on closing weekend.

One more day until Halloween! Anyone dressing up to give out candy or to take the kids/grandkids trick or treating?
After yesterday, I'm feeling like I might be getting sick. I hope not! The kids & I are really looking forward to going to visit friends & trick or treating.
Karl wants to be a wanna-be gang member (not happening), so he better figure it out quick. Kaedon wants to be a dirtbike rider, & so long as I'm warm...I'll be a vampire biker. LOL!

I'll be going to my church as they have a thing called trunk or treat, where members decorate their vehicles, and pop the trunk and give out candy. Of course, if they have an SUV or a pickup, they don't have a trunk, and they improvise.
