I saw something like this on the Berlin Turnpike a few years ago only the rear tractor was full size and driving backwards and the trailer had like 12 axles. They were moving a huge bridge part.

Some large city fire trucks are rear steer, I can remember seeing the Norwich Fire Department practicing a run through a very tight narrow road at what I would consider high speed for that size vehicle.
