I love stock size tires!

There was someone in the 87-96 board asking about if anyone had bought a set of them yesterday....

Thanks for replying to Iverson's thread Miles.

It seems I still have to "spread it around" but the 6 points are coming.

I have the ATR's right now, but used to have the Radial LT's, f o r e v e r...
If you've run the LT's before how would these compare?
Road noise, wet traction, loose or muddy conditions?

I'm not so impressed with the ATR's v/s my old tires.
They may be quieter on the highway, but they are certainly inferior on a muddy jobsite. (and we have had nothing but rain lately)

The only tire i ran before were General Grabber TR's that the ford dealer put on before i bought my truck, size 235/85/R16. they were decent enough tires.. just hated the look. just "good" in mud, really good in snow and alright all around. Wanted something beefier though after one of them got a gash in the sidewall

oh, and if you have ever been in a truck with the STTs.. these are much quieter. They still have a nice hum that i like (which you can really hear with only the quiet 5.4) but its not obnoxious. basically, they dont hum so much that my dad complains on the drive to vermont
