Good morning CT. New guy starts today, and there is a lot of work to be done. We have ro pick up his new van, have four jobs to do, and we have to stock said van with goodies. I am officially broke.
Welcome to my world... except I have no new guy, no new van, and no goodies.
Although my truck is back on the road. Finally got the turbo back in last night. She smells a bit like burning oil and is blowing some blue from residual oil in the exhaust but there's no smoke coming from the turbo.
[quote=7.3 Rocket;10964534]Cause this one is fine other than the turbo blew up.. and I'm a broke college student.
Oh ya I forgot, you got books to buy..............
just bought $800.00 of brake parts from riffraff for it too.
Just a heads up Norkor clutch + brake in new haven is very reasonably priced and the owner is a really good guy to deal with. Plus you can have parts right then not in a week. Not knocking clay just saying.
Ps if Aaron is too busy to do the brakes for you I'm available
alright so today at work. we got the forms up for concrete and then braced and got ready for the truck to rool up. Well the truck came and could only sit in one spt and we had to shovel 5 yards of concrete around from the spot he dumped it. Then the side form BROKE! and about half a yard of cemete poured out on my boss up to his knees... about an hour later and new forms we finally got it all filled up. but the old stuff was drying and thus made it almost impossible to level out. so i got the job of kneeling on ply wood for 2 hours leveling and smoothing. and now i cant feel my upper body. Oh and i saw blackbetty ( for those of you who know her ) pulled over today. And the driver Mia? weird.
