Manifold woes/headers
alright so i found my exhaust leak. its where the manifold attaches to the flange and its so rusted away that i need to get it redrilled and tapped. so after i finally found me a shop that will do it they said if its too bad ill have to get a new manifold which i refuse to do when i want headers anyway. the manifolds are about 100 a piece from autozone and why just replace one? and headers are the same price as two manifolds.
my question is for the hooker competition headers do you need anything special for them? i know my buddy had some problems with his and his spark plug wires. i know ill need the headers, gaskets, maybe new header bolts? is that a necessity? and then whatever else ill need to run the rest of the exhaust such as cats and mufflers and what not. '
im just trying to get a good estimate of everything ill need if it cant be retapped that way i know about how much im looking at.
