Changing Trans line filter.

I need help with my trans coolant line filter(Toilet paper roll) on my 2003 f350 king ranch 6.0l.
The filter canister and block are both aluminum and are siezed together.
I just dont want to try brute force and twict off a coolant line.
The Techs at my shop say to not bother as its not worth the hassle and risk.
But there has to be a way to break it down. so if anyone has an idea how to crack it apart let me know and ill try it and also pass on the knowledge.

I have changed mine at 33k miles,,,it was torqed up ,,but it did come loose,,,I wonder about a Impact wrench,,, most have the **** on them to adjust or ease into a lighter duty job,,if you can hold the base of the filter,,it may work,,,Go easy on the Impact and turn up as needed ?? !!

Yes, an impact wrench is the answer. It will zip it right off.

And you do need to change that filter. It is the only real filter in the system.
