Remote Starter for a 7.3??

Please excuse my ignorance since I am new to the world of Diesel engines.

I recently purchased a 2000 Excursion with the 7.3. Is it possible to get a remote starter on it? How does that work with the glow plugs?

If anyone else has one on theirs, anything that I should know? I am in Michigan and think it would be handy in the winter to get it warmed up.

Thanks

Sorry I should have read a little farther down. I see someone else asked a similar question.

thats okay, the remote start has a delay for the glow plugs....when activated, it turns on the glow plugs for lets say 20 seconds (timing adjustable)then starts truck
