Remote Start on an IDI?

Since you have to wait for the glow plugs to warm up.. is there a remote start available for our trucks? or can u set a waiting time or something?

I think there is one if you have an automatic tranny.

I am not sure I would trust my starter to one though.

there are remote starters that tie into the wts light, but you will need to find one that will work on a diesel for the glow plug delayand that also works on a carbrated engine since it will have a output for a throttle kicker to step on the gas as its cranking. i dought there is a remote starter that is fully compatible on a idi right out of the box
