Question Turbo cam

OK... suppose the block is built for turbo (whichever boost). What cam would be appropriate for 6-8 boost, 10-12 boost , 14 & up...?
Maybe for the sake of simplicity, assume low -mid rpm app for low boost; mid rpm/ mid boost; mid - high rpm/high boost...

Turbo cam

Now, I've been reading old posts (again) and see that you don't want much more than a stock cam for most ANY turbo application. Of interest...Jegs has a crane powermax cam for the 300 which (they boast) is turbo friendly (my term). It's a 260*/272* & 458/487. Sound good?

Turbo cam

Stock or a mild street cam sounds about right- any more overlap, and the backpressure in the exhaust will seriously affect the a/f charge. You may not notice it at idle, but as soon as the boost hits, you'll know something is wrong.
