Im not really understanding.
So if i email for example Power hungery proformance and buy the t6 chip with 6 of their "calibrations" they have on there are those considered "canned"? because as of now im just consintrated on fuel mileage. later when i have more modifications to the truck i want to get custom tunes but could i still us the t6. like could i send it in and get custom tunes put on it?

PHP is custom tunes. Custom tunes are built for your truck and mods. Canned tunes are places that sell chips for (example) a 97 F-250 with auto or manual

Advance diesel is canned tunes

Power Hungry Performance is customs tunes, so you wouldnt have to get it tuned again, unless you are upgrading to bigger injectors. If you want to buy the TS chip from advanced diesel for now, in the future you could send that in to any of those custom tuners that were mentioned before (PHP, TW, Beans, etc...) and get the chip custom tuned. If you are going to spend the money, might as well go with custom tuning. If you are planning on getting stage 1 injectors in the future, you could always get the chip custom tuned to stage 1's even with stock injectors.

You can get your chip now with stageI tunes and run stock injectors and it will not hurt anything that way when you do get injectors you won't have to send it back for a reburn

The tunes will make a big difference. Make sure to get at the minimum a pyrometer gauge before doing any mods.
