Ok here it is. No codes. All Preasures are good. Fuel delivery is great. The only way to get it to start is to disconect the batteries and let it discharge. Reconnect and it will fire on the first crank. This has happened when cold and hot. Any ideas would be apreciated. The Truck is a 2006 F350 Lariat 4x4 crewcab lwb.
Diagnostics are going to be difficult if you're having to disconnect the batteries to start. When you say all pressures are good do you mean ICP/IPR are good? What are you using for gauges/diagnostics?
ICP/IPR are good according to the Scan Gauge. FICM shows good Voltage. Fuel injectors run their rounds. Batteries are new and fully charged. I haven't checked fuel pressure but I can't see it being the issue since it stars up and runs great after the disconnect. I really don't want to wait till it quits again and then have it towed. Could it be a relay in the fuse box becoming weak?
What are you using to pull codes? Scan gauge will pick up some but not all. You might need to try another code reader, or take it somewhere after you get it started to be read as the code might still be there.
Reconnected the batteries and no codes nor did I have any when it wouldn't start. I will try resetting the SG and see if its a link issue. I'm headed to the dealer next week if I can't figure it out this weekend. I've been driving it everyday since and it hasn't missed a beat. Just hope it's not a wasted trip. I did find that there is a PCM Relay under the hood. Wonder if it being weak could cause it?
im questing your scan gauge right now. its not possibel to discconect both batteries and get no codes on a 6.0
I'm confused about this statement. I think he means it's not possible to disconnect both batteries and get codes because the codes will disappear. Maybe you should drop by Autozone and get the truck scanned although if it's not doing the no-start thing there is probably nothing there, but it can't hurt.

sorry about your confusion there Tim.. but I mean just that, you should pull a P1000 and possibly a p0603.

I see what you're saying now. I've never been a real fan of the SGII's code reading ability on my 04 but I thought on the 05 and up it did a lot better but obviously not.
